I am trying to ship a 43 inch shaft to Australia from the US. The post office is saying that Priority Mail has a length limit of 42 inches. Express is 36 inches. My buyer says he has received shafts from the US before. Has anyone shipped a box like this to Australia? If so, how?

Lie….

Lie….

haha,

ive shipped drivers to australia and usa and although there is a limit with EMS. they never check.

I guess you just have to deal with right person.

Mine was 48, I repacked it 45.... still too long but they just did it.

I have done several times.

Here is the the link to the Aus Post website showing a limit of 105cm.

However, having read a few forums it appears the limit is a bit discreationary depending on where you post from. I have just received a parcel 48 inches long from Japan via EMS without any hassels. In fact they tried to deliver to my home and as no one was in I had in redirected to work without any hassles and no additional cost.

I actually wrapped one in bubble wrap and tape with cardboard to protect the ends and they didn't say a word. Driver shaft
