Posted February 3, 201312 yr hit the 7I against my 7I RomaRo H and I am just really surpised at the amount of offset the Personals have for a blade. That said, it was forgiving for a blade and look very hogany nice, just a lot of offset. Personal on the left or below as may be the case. Edited February 3, 201312 yr by wmclarenf1
February 3, 201312 yr Thanks for sharing! It really is evident in pics Nice personals with Monaco. Dint even know u had em
February 3, 201312 yr Yep, lots of offset. I haven't played mine yet but at address...let's say it will take some getting used to.
February 3, 201312 yr Author True dat, but I don't even notice it. Its very noticeable for me at address.
February 3, 201312 yr I had some AF-Tours and 301's and both had too much offset for what they were IMO. Never could get along with them because of that. Other than that they were really nice. Maybe just one or two designs with little or no offset?
February 3, 201312 yr The offset on the personals isn't like the offset in the 302s though to me. The personal doesn't appear look closed to me like some offsets do. Used to be that offset was just offset and the leading edge was more square now it seems like offset keeps meaning more and more closed face angle which sucks

Had to set up with it open to get it straight or push. My H was going straight. This again was on the same day with the same swing, balls etc one being hit after the other. The Personal is like I said, Hogany nice looking though. I can now understand also the comments of the Personal being rather forgiving for a blade and can see why many will like this. Just not for me. Not sure about the 302 offset as I have never gamed them but the 302 demo I did hit a while back, the offset did not strike me enough to be significant at least from address.
February 3, 201312 yr The personal's definitely have some off set and was a turn off at first but once you play with them, you can't get over how easy they are to hit and very fun to play with. Edited February 3, 201312 yr by vanla01

I think it depends on where your focus is. If you focus on the neck of the personals it will drive you nuts because the way they're designed it makes them look more offset than they really are. I look at the leading edge angle relative to the shaft more and they don't appear closed to me. Then again I kind if set up a little open compared to most people anyways. Sorry to hear they aren't working out for you.

Looking at the leading edge or the ball does not make them less or more off set or straight neck. :-)

February 3, 201312 yr True dat, but I don't even notice it. Same here, noticed it at first but now its a non issue.
February 4, 201312 yr Personal always have that offset and that's one of the reason I didn't get one when Spoon (I think was the first to put his for sale). However I've not hit em so cannot comment on how they play but from everyone review they seem to be magical sticks that get you on the green in two :-)
