JOHNC69
I am considering changing to low launch / low spin graphite shafts in my irons and driving iron after playing Project X 7.0 and KBS C-Taper X shafts for several years, I am very interested in the UST Attas Tour 110 X shafts and I would like to hear any thoughts on how they perform and how they would compare to the Project X or C-Taper in terms of launch, spin, distance etc.
RIduffer
For all the graphite iron shafts I have tried, these definitely provide the most penetrating trajectory. They are very stable and hold up nicely to highish SS(I'm about 112 driver peaks in high teens). I have them in a set of RomaRo Pro, so the CoG on the head is contributing to the trajectory, but compared to the TS 905 heads with Crazy CBI IIs which should also be a low mid trajectory set up the Attas/RomaRo are materially better for ball flight. I do not think these are overly active tips but the overall shaft does feel wonderful. Also, they do not hinder head/hand communication. Still get that great sensation on clean struck balls and can get where on the club face I am making contact. When I tried the C-Tapers I did not like them at all. Felt like swinging a piece of rebar. So I do not have much comparison for you there and have never played Project shafts.
