Posted March 11, 201312 yr I have been playing the Srixon Z star yellow for awhile and moved on to the cheaper Q Star yellow and Bridgestone e6 yellow. Recently on a whim, bought two sleeves of a Mizuno S201 yellow to try out on a social game. I must say I am most pleasantly surprised by the soft feel of the ball on short irons and around the green and distance is comparable to most higher price balls. I know absolutely nothing about the ball but I can only assume it is the cheaper version of Mizuno premium MP or JPX line. Mizuno balls are made in Taiwan and the S201 is even cheaper than the Bridgestone e6.
March 11, 201312 yr I have tried the pricier version from mizuno, the cross eight or something like that, and they were also really good. I remember I promised myself to buy some more of those, you reminded me now, ha ha
March 13, 201312 yr I'd assume them to be pretty good under the Mizuno label. I bought a gross of Srixon XVs though on sale so they'll have to wait.
