bogeydog
I thought it was time to give a long term update on these wedges. I play a 52 and 56. These are very simple and clean looking. No real stand out visual frills here. Nice smooth and clean. Smallish size with s pleasant sayin finish. Anyone not specifically studying these wouldn't notice anything special about them. Looks can be deceiving. Boy these just flat out perform. In all conditions these excel. Tight lies, wet lies,.chips, lobs, etc. They rock. Feel is perfect. Soft yet positive. I confess that I am not a wedge snob. However I do know quality and performance. I also like my wedges to be versatile. These are everything I need and I can't imagine what more a wedge can provide. For the price, they can't be beat. Make me wonder how the Syard will compare. Who else is playing them? EdGolf
I'm also playing both 52 and 56 but bend my 52 to 51 and 56 to 57. Great versatile wedges for all lies. Only thing is I don't quite like it when it opens up....
lousifers
Following Jeff's advice, I'm playing 52* and 57*. Loving it. I got no problem opening it up. Couldn't make it spin but after concentrating on hitting the ball not behind it, find some spin now. S-Yard really gave priority to domestic market, so I bought the Bold from Japan and it's on the way to me. Hope I have it before going to US this Friday Mark
Baddmnkey
Just a minor correction to the OP, I think your referring to the MB5000WC :) Love these wedges. Great looking wedge, simple/clean with a nice heavy/dense feel. Playing them @ 51* / 58* and no complaints. idrive
Well, I am a wedge snob. I have about 40 of the best wedges in all the land. I bent both of mine 1* weaker. playing at 53* and 58* I'm serious as a heart attack when I say that I can't get over how much I love these wedges. There isn't anything that I can't do with them. My wedge play is off the charts right now. The confidence I have with them is beyond imagination. The Bold's (when they show up) will get their shot at taking them out but at this point I don't think they can. I don't think any wedge(s) can. I'm not kidding when I say I've been knocking the stick down with these as well as an Eagle with the A wedge on a par 4. Did I mention I love these wedges?? VoV
Hello all! I'm playing the 57* of this wedge with the KBS Hi-Rev, and like you guys I love this wedge! Coming from the Fourteen MT28v4, it's a different, yet satisfying feel. No probs out of the sand, or chips, lobs etc. A club I look forward to hitting.
