Just came across this set on a Japanese auction site. Thought you blade guys would like to see it. Apparently it's by MG a few years ago for OnOff and limited to 200 sets.

We sold them here at TSG, they were very limited and very popular.

The MB247 and CB247 both forged by Miura for ONOFF.

Were they as compact as the BB or more like the 5002 in size? Conforming or not?

I remember the CB247 but do not recall the MB on TSG. Perhaps mostly I did not pay attention to blades.

Non conforming, they were long before the groove rules.

Not super super compact but small probably similar in size to the 5003.

I always adored the 247 CB, first JDM set I really fell in love with. But I NEVER saw the MB version. Nice and clean, awesome!

by the conversation here, these sound like they're only several years old...but they have the look of 80's at the latest.

either way, they're pretty cool!

2007 or 08 I think, I still have a set of the cb247s, great irons.
