How much longer are the new .888 drivers?

Featured Replies

How much longer are the new non-conforming drivers compared to the standard 913 D2 or Callaway Xtreme drivers?

I think the new cor is .888 or .886.

Thank you

I dont know I am just wondering if they are that much longer and whats the new COR? It was .860.

Legal Drivers can NOT exceed .83 COR

SS will make a difference on how much longer the non conforming driver will play. Most non conforming

drivers are .87 COR

They will all vary slightly but with a 100 mph swing the extra distance is approx. 8-10 yards. If the forgiveness

level on a non conforming driver is higher than the driver you play it's possible you'll notice even more distance.

Great thank you

Wishon made a 480cc 0.90 COR head while back for Asian market (for comparison thats a higher COR than Ryoma special tuning). launch conditions have far more effect on distance than small COR improvements so theoretically the only gains you start to see from cheating COR is when your launch conditions are dialed in and then higher COR would give you some extra over that. which seems to be backed by most of the anecdotal evidence from the net where people say higher COR did nothing for them. POW! :)
