Hey guys, first post here.

Can anyone tell me more about the Egg Impact Driver? Can't find any reviews online.

Looking at the original version, not the 2012 one.

I'm assuming it's very forgiving but how is the launch, spin and distance?

And what shaft would suitable for me? I am generally stuck between regular and stiff and find it hard to find a good driver shaft. SS is 85-90mph. Would the M40 be about right?

And on a similar note, can anyone point me in the direction of any other JDM drivers that are highly forgiving with heavy heads?

I did not love the original's feel. Firm and very high launch.

How heavy do you need?

You would be better off building a hi COR Kamui Ray.

They make it from scratch to any weight you want.

Better feel and distance and quality than the Impact.

Some posts I have made on the Ray:

The Ryoma is of course one of the most forgiving drivers anywhere but it will not be a heavy head maxing out around 200g

200g head is plenty heavy. The stock Ryoma Premia is only 188g. The non stock heads that I have and had were 192 and 196g.
