2011 Onoff Forged hosel size - anyone know, definitively?

Featured Replies

Decided to go MCI's over SteelFibres and heard the 2011 Onoff forged irons have a hosel size of .370 which would perfectly match the MCIs.

Can anyone confirm this?

Right now I have Modus 3 Tour 120s in the Onoff's but apparently they are .355 shafts so maybe my club builder used shims, if indeed the Onoff's are .370.

Anyway, if anyone can confirm, please let me know.

Appreciate it.

Rob.

As a club builder, all of the OnOff heads I have installed shafts in are taper tip, .355.

So .355. Ok, thanks.

Ha, but then, .355 taper tips can be drilled out to accept .370 parallel shafts. Better check the irons to make sure this has not been done.

Normal hosel size of top flight irons like the OnOff is taper .355.

I'm pretty sure ONOFF Forged is 0.370" tip because it accepts Roddio which only comes in 0.370" tip.

I'll double check with ONOFF.

Had 2011s and have 2013 both taper tip.

I have a set of ONOFF forged 2011 and they are definitely .355 taper tip !

* Not sure if u can sand the tips of the aerotech , but back in the days of the MFS115, all their graphite shafts for irons were parallel and needed to be sanded quite a bit to fit into taper tip heads

They make them in taper tip.
