Mob
So I have a jBeam/Crazy 435 driver with a Crazy 80LS Noir shaft. It is really growing on me. I just saw the 435 II listed for lefties, and wanted to know if someone has played both and can compare the two heads. Thanks
Craig
Mate Tried both of these at the Crazy factory. In the words of the Crazy guys. The 435II is much more forgiving, higher launching and draw biased. Pretty much the exact opposite of what I had found. This is whatbthey wanted to put me in to. I have found the 435II to ne one of my favourite looking heads. It looks just outright mean. For me it is not as long, not as straight. If I was going ok with the 435 then dont change. Mob
Thanks that is helpful. I am not looking for a higher launching head, I like the boring trajectory of the 435.
Mob
I played 9 holes with my 435 today. Boy do I love this driver. When I am swinging well, this driver is about as good as I can swing a driver. hit it 286 yards on the first hole, and 283 yards on the second hole and 280 yards on the 9th hole. I usually only hit one ball that far out of 18 holes. Mis**ts still feel pretty bad, but I think I can live with it.

Seriously though, its really hard to find something that beats the 435. Seems like you have the right shaft in it as well. Go ahead and play around with other driver shaft combos but leave your 435 alone. This head has been with enough members for longer enough periods to show that it is still top of the heap. I have zilch experience with the 435II so can;t offer any experience there. Edited July 25, 2013 by wmclarenf1
bkkgolfer
Has anyone compared Maxima and 435? Wonder which is longer with the same shaft...
wmclarenf1
I can't compare with the same shaft but I can say for ME, both are the longest of any heads I have hit and for ME, the maxima can be longer but by maybe 5 meters or so only. Maxima is a lot more forgiving and finds more fairways. Roll wise, I actually think the maxima on average rolls more for ME. I keep emphasiing ME in caps because the maxima seems to be en enigma and has given a few issues. Maxima seems to be very shaft dependent, more so than other drivers but when you find the right combo as I think I have, Booyah! Kinda leaning towards Maxima even though many have praised 435.
Mob
I am liking the 435 more each time I hit it. I was killing it today and getting more consistent with it. My playing partners asked if it was conforming and then later on, asked again. They couldn't believe how far I was hitting it.
