So its the fall season here in Japan and the big mainstream brands, Mitsubishi Rayon, Fujikura and Graphite Design are all releasing new shafts.

The Diamana W series was already released a couple of months ago and now they have an all new Diamana series fairway wood. In the past fairway wood shafts basically came from the Fubuki line but now Diamana has released a Thump FW shaft.

Feels like just yesterday Graphite Design released the GT series and now the already have the new MT series coming out next month. Supposedly a cross between the explosive distance of the GT and the control of a BB. It is.... yellow!

Fujikura's new Motore Speeder line, a revival of older Speeder shafts, remade to modern specs with modern materials and manufacturing. They have launched already to huge fanfare in Japan with lots of stock shortages.

A lot of hardcore enthusiasts and smaller shops in Japan choose to go with smaller high end brands like Crazy, TRPX, Quadra, Waccine Compo and others as the high modulus boom is here to stay. Looking forward myself to trying some Thump FW shafts and glad to see such a wide range of weights!

This is so timely. I was planning on getting a GT for my fw as nothing in the diamana line interested me.

The thump is what i want! They even have it in 77grams perfect!
