Hello - I'm looking for a distance driver. Can someone give me some feedback on these two drivers?

Distance? Ball Flight? Dispersion? Forgiveness?

I play a 913 D2 10.5* w/Rombax 6X07 Reg flex.

Smooth swinger

Thank you!

Trpx S013 is very forgiving. Ball flight for me is lower than US drivers so keep that in mind. Mine is a 10 degree and it a medium boring trajectory with the Messenger 1st stiff shaft. More like a 9 degree to me really, though it may be the shaft keeping it down.

Can't comment on the other as I've never hit one.

I only have the Type D which is slightly lighter than the Type V. For me, the S-013 is a better all round driver BUT the Type D has given my more outright long drives than the S-013. For the Maxima, you need to bear in mind 2 things… 1) it launches slightly higher loft for loft and 2) it is trickier for some reason to find the right shaft but when you do…. :-)

I have not played (or bothered to try :-)) the 913 or any Titty driver for a LONNGGGGGG while so I really can't give a compare to that.

Lol. Thanks for the info. Looking for length as I won't be on the PGA tour anytime soon so non-conforming are also up for consideration thank you

I have both. Type V in boron and S 013 in X line shaft. The S 013 is a mile more forgiving, sound better at impact, consistent ball flight, straighter but not as long. I have hit huge bomb distance from type V 300++ yards whereas the S 013 distance is about average at 290. Roll on the type V is better too. Now I'm gaming only s013 for only one reason....it's forgiveness and the average distance is. It that bad.

Just remember that if you go non-conforming that you can't use the the scores you shoot with it for USGA handicap purposes. Might as well use 18 clubs or not count all your strokes if you use these scores. If you don't turn scores in or just want something to mess around with at the range, no problem.
