Any feedback on these, particularly the Type-S. Have these been totally overshadowed by the TRPX and Maxima? I'm about to place an order with Tario for a TRPX, but just want to make sure I'm not going to be missing out on anything here b/c I typically get addicted to the feel of ONOFF, Yamaha, Epon and the likes.

I'm really excited about ONOFF's new type s! Hopefully, supo will try one out for us? :atsg_smilie_onoff:

Well the new ONOFF just came out so I doubt they were overshadowed, they just have not been out long enough. Year in and year out solid performers though. Quality designs, feel and workmanship.

The TPRX is a great performer but if you're looking for the feel of Yamaha or Epon, you're not gonna find it here IMO. More of a hollow, metallic feel with the TPRX. Never hit an ONOFF driver.

B is right though the ONOFF feels much more like Epon and Yamaha since it is also forged at Endo.

Cool, I'll look forward to any future reviews then. I'm still going with the TRPX just b/c I'm looking for distance and performance over feel right now. The shorter the iron I can use for my 2nd shot, the better my game will be.

Tario, your status says that "TRPX has made life on the links a lot easier". That's exactly what I'm looking for.

Good choice then. The TPRX will flat-out give you performance and distance.
