phillypete
They were replaced with the Pro V1X ball - older model are they worth anything... I thought I remember Chris selling them for a substancial price?
Mike
pete, I think you are refering to the PROV 1 Diamonds . They are a softer ball that provide's more spin . Have heard that they are Tour Issue only .
golfdr
The Pro V1 diamond was a ball designed to replace the pro V1 - more spin and softer - it did not take on tour and was never released.

I saw a mother load for stars at a local course and my eyes started seeing $$... hehehehe...no luck for Pete this time. Guess I'll just have to sell my body inorder to afford college... forgedCBuser
discontinued but you can still find some relatively cheap. hard outer cover and didn't really check on finesse shots around the green. only good thing aout it was it didn't discolor or shred as easily as the original prov's. tei3rn
Pete, To me, the * felt a lot softer than the X, but also had less spin than the regular Pro V.
