March 2, 200421 yr pete, I think you are refering to the PROV 1 Diamonds . They are a softer ball that provide's more spin . Have heard that they are Tour Issue only .

March 2, 200421 yr Author oh yeah that is what it was... I remember Chris selling them for top dollar... I saw a mother load for stars at a local course and my eyes started seeing $$... hehehehe...no luck for Pete this time. Guess I'll just have to sell my body inorder to afford college...
March 2, 200421 yr discontinued but you can still find some relatively cheap. hard outer cover and didn't really check on finesse shots around the green. only good thing aout it was it didn't discolor or shred as easily as the original prov's.
