Odd question

I have 2 sets of Mizuno T Zoid pro irons, one steel shaft and one graphite. The steel has been reshafted from DG R200 to Shimada K'3001 a few years back and kept them for guests to play. Left my LE graphite set in Canada but thinking about bringing them back to HK now. I recall reading somewhere that the original JDM T Zoid used very soft carbon steel. It is not 1025 or even 1020C but lower. I cannot find where I read it now and would be grateful if some of you Mizuno aficionado could enlighten me and satisfy my urge to find this info. Much thanks in advance.

Not sure I can still play them now but recall they were like hot knife thru butter if hit pure.
