Posted July 6, 201410 yr Love the way this putter rolls the ball, 6* of loft. It has a great clean cavity, simple sight line. Problem is the glare off the stainless steel is distracting. Any suggestions on how to take the shine out without totally garbaging up a great flat stick, especially since Yamada's are getting hard to find?
July 6, 201410 yr Fine grit sandpaper will take the shine off without changing the appearance too much.
July 8, 201410 yr Try this: http://www.krylon.com/products/matte-finish/ OR http://www.krylon.com/products/dulling-spray/ It worked on my Yamaha putter to a certain acceptable extent. The only gripe is having to top up every now and then. I have not tried combining both though.
