CK25
Hi all, Looking for some comparisons between the 3 shafts. From what I've read all 3 seem to have a similar bend profile as the trusted DG. I love everything about DG but just need something a bit lighter, a tad lower spin, to help me gain some distance for my slowish swing speed (75 mph 6i) . However I do have a pretty fast tempo and transition, so my fitter is doesn't want to put me in a sub 100g shaft. From what I've read, modus 120 is light but feel heavy like DG so swing speed increases without you feeling it. Shimada tour, from what I've read has a snap at impact which many people experience increased ball speed. Spb is prob becoming a classic now for the smooth feel yet flatter flight and lower spin compared to DG. However from where I live it's hard to test 3 shafts at once. Looking for some advice which shafts suit which type of golfers. Thanks!
Mjr. D
Have Shimadas in my wedges - seem nice, feel nice. A bit hard to judge with wedges, though. SPB are fantastic as are the Modus'. SPB smoother, lower. Modus, high, low spin, long bit firmer feeling (I'm using TX). I would just choose based on the ball flight you prefer. Both are some of the best out there. Can't go wrong.
