Taylor Made Tour Rac wedges: are they milled???

Hi;

I don't know if you have noticed that the Taylor Made Tour Rac wedges have their face milled.

Did you noticed the "circle" on the face?

Just would like to know if all this is legal for us and how they arrive to this result.

I guess they milled the face at the end of the process otherwise the copper, nickel or chrome underlay will ruin the milling process.

any idea is welcome... :D
