Take care of it and t wont rust. Just wipe it down.

Use Yamalube with the black ox. Keeps it perfect. Like WD40 or a scotty silicone cloth on STEROIDS.

is yamalube for motorcycles (as in Yamaha lube)? equivalent to sword oil?

A silicone gun/reel cloth would work well, too. Just a quick wipe gets off corrosive oils, a layer of protection, and adds a touch of sheen. And the best part - they only cost $5.

Silicone lubricant it is by yamaha.
