March 10, 200421 yr If you sell the head only can I buy the shaft? I can't seem to be able to find a x100 shaft that fits that stupid pt. I've been lookin for one for about a year now.
March 10, 200421 yr just take the pt to a good clubmaker, the shafts are there. my 970 was fit with an x100 very easily...it may be a taper tip? not sure....
March 10, 200421 yr Retail PT Bore-thru heads are .310 tip. I am not sure about Tour Models. That being said a good clubmaker can rebore the head to .335., or Titleist and a few shops have it. Not trying to threadjack, just thought I could help.
March 10, 200421 yr sorry about the threadjack, but yeah i thought about doing a rebore, but I just don't want to do it. I haven't found anyone that carries that .310 shaft in x100. Apparently that shaft was specially made for the pt. So yeah if you do sell the head I'm interested in a .310 x100 pull. Let me know. Thanks.
