just thought i would share an article (review) from golf magazine on the bridgestone irons

http://www.golf.com/equipment/2017/03/06/bridgestone-tour-b-x-cb-irons-review-clubtest-2017

first time that i've read that a japanese club was testers' favorite and won in the better player category. never hit them, but they look ok i guess... while other surprises were the tw737v irons and tw737 460 driver that did not bode so well

i stopped looking at the golf digest hotlist years ago since its so biased towards the bigger companies - and you can basically guess who would be the gold medallists

thanks for relaying this. I like what was said about the X-CB's at the bottom of the article:

"Bottom Line

The highest-ranked better-player iron in our test. The Tour B X-CB excels in every performance category and looks great doing it."

that's pretty high praise for a Bridgestone iron, I'm intrigued by an X-CB/X-MB combo. I'm also very surprised that feedback on the 737V's wasn't great, the testers also seemed to prefer the Srixon Z765's to those. interesting to say the least. it makes me question the objectivity of the article a little, but still sounds like a pretty good review and definitely tweaks my interest in the Tour B's
