new 300 tour performs much different than old, shaft issue?

Featured Replies

I just got back from my first true range session of the season and after hitting I had all my woods specs checked out.

The ball flight on all was the same - straight or a slight fade except the new 300 tour 9.5. The new 300 tour (with a different shaft than the original one that I got) seemed to fly a bit higher, but the ball flight was way right of a fade!!! My first guess was that the new drivers shaft was much stiffer, but that doesn't seem to be

the case.

I am listing the specs of each wood below as well as the flex value from the chart.

I hope that someone here can clue me into why! Thanks!

Here is the list of what the woods are and their specs.
