I've got a older Bobby Grace putter that has a chrome finish on it that blinds me when I look down at it during a sunny day. I've sent three of my Scotty's to CCC for refinishing and they've all turned out great, but they can't do my BG because it has a rubber insert. Do any of you have any ideas on how I can take the glare off my putter?

Send it to the iron factory for a satin finish for $25.00

Don't quote me on this but I think I read somewhere that Lee Trevino used Gun Blue on his putters to reduce the glare.

You can also send it to Tom Slighter at www.slightergolf.com. he can refinish putters as well and has a really cool dull GSS type finish that would look great. It can also remill heads and redo paintfill. Very nice guy and the work is very reasonable as well. You can also try kevin Colbert at www.putterplating.com. Very reasonable and will answer as many questions as possible.
