Posted May 10, 200420 yr comment_37974 I want to put Nippon NSPro950GH shafts in my TS 202's. The shafts came out of Mizuno S-30 irons. Will there be any problem with the shaft length after install. Is the hosel depth the same, close, ??? Thanks, Daverow
May 10, 200420 yr comment_37988 I am not familiar with the two clubs however if I remember correctly neither are bore through so the difference should not be too drastic. However you will need to make some adjustments... probably no more than .25" in either direction.
May 10, 200420 yr Author comment_37990 Good..I really like the Nippon shafts and they are hard to find so you have to get them when you can. Thanks
May 11, 200420 yr comment_38188 We are exact opposites. I prefer DGs and here in Asia most of the newer sets come with NS pro95. I have a lot of pull outs from iron sets, fairway woods, etc. Plus it is so hard to find DGS300 at a reasonable price. Think US$40 for a single DGS300 iron shaft installed with GP V50!
May 12, 200420 yr Author comment_38203 I guess it's those things that keep this golf business going. Golf equipment can become an addiction, one I seem to go through every so often. DG shafts are really plentiful, rifles suffered through a ship sinking, and Nippon's are extremely expensive but one is in search of a better day at the course. For me, I feel I can get the Nippon loaded better than any steel shaft I've ever played. Maybe it's the weight thing.
