bigkidneys
Can someone PM me with the cost of having that done? Jason
AKFLY
Mike - I believe Joe K does not recomend foaming driver heads. As for weight - my local guy charges $10 for heads to be weighed internally using rat glue. I asked for 216 in a 3 wood and got 216 grams. I like that kind of serice. And provided that the heat does not reach 190° in my car I do not have to worry about the stuff sliding inside.

A hair dryer alone can melt and move the rat glue.just my 2 cents ! joe

Thanks for the suggestion though Mike (I would take yours off you if you really want me to  ) Patrick Funny! :-D most of my long time customers and friends think the opposite, because they've spend less on Hoing and going around picking the wrong stuff or less chances ruining the equipments, etc. :money: And also, due to the amount of work that Mike's gave me, I don't remember I ever charge him for weight adjustment other than reshafting charges only. Mike can verify this and some other stuff that i don't like to bring them up here. :smile1: Anyway, No worry! No offence to me at all Patrick!( hope the same w/ you ) I just want to let every one knows that the more you know me the more you'll understand how I work. I work 2 - 4 hrs a day to serve every body on the forums to let them picked my brain up ( I never expect any appreciation at all on that ) and if i'm full fit condition...i can work only up to 5 hrs a day on the bench. Not to mention I'm willing to call anyone out there in this earth just to discuss their need in equipments info, off course w/ an initial good faith to really work on their club if "necessary". A lot of them can verify this issue for sure. Bottom line is Dollar values or Work & Personal values that people looking for...W/ a more satisfying end result. Reputation always speaks for itself! BTW, It's not gonna be that easy to pry them out from Mike's hand. He will fight till the last drop for sure. :smile2: :D  Joe

I justed posted as an option to your work - plus allot of builders use that "stuff". If I new from the get go that my raw duffy would work out and I had the patience to wait - It would have been sent your way. Mike is not your only big fan - you have a great rep. and are always kind enough to respond to questions. Thanks :smile2:

I'm not trying to be neat picking here, I'm just trying to give you a head up about rat glue issue. I never have an issue about my cost, I only have 2 hand to work on the club anyway...I can't handle more that i got now, unless i can hire an employee who got the same quality of my work w/ a reasonable salary that i can afford. However if i do find one, do you think he'll work for me and if he does...do you think he'll stay loyal?BTW, Most head use only around 3 - 7 grams rat glue which will very likely effect the ball flight ( i doubt it ) but when we added more than that , I would have to say depends where the glue will end up when you took them out of a hot trunk. Today is in the toe and tomorrow is in the heel, next week is in the back,etc...can we get a consistent feel out of it? At least I don't like having some doubt w/ my stick. Again It's only my 2 cents. Bottom line is we are having a healthy and fruitfull discussion, right? joe :smile2:

You are always the gent - and always willing to share info. and may I say always correct ( X flex 660 vs. S flex). I will keep the window and sun roof slightly open to my truck.
