Just a quick clarification.....The 540DF is the prototype to the 540XD. They are exactly the same club. I can back this up if you are interested.

maybe he wants the one that has the xd on the bottom and is the deep face, they are the same but im guessing thats what he wants fasho.

Just another clarification.....The 540DF Tour (Deep Face) that I have is identical in every respect to the 540XD Tour except for the XD on the sole. It is 400cc, Deep Faced, same weight port configyration as the XD, .335 bore hosel, etc., etc..

I am only providing this clarification for the benefit of others on this board and do respect the fact that the poster may just be looking for the 'XD' on the bottom.

Whoah.... sorry if i said the wrong thing to anger you. Im looking for the 540 XD over the original DF because i have tried both and the XD has a little lower COG and launches truer to loft than the original DF. I never made an incorrect statement, i merely said i would prefer one driver over another which is my preference.

I didnt mean to get anyone angry, im just looking to pick up another driver and i would rather people just PM me.
