There a re no dings or nicks whatsoever and these irons are at least a 9.25 out of 10! They have the standard satin finish but paintfill was removed so they look even more sleek and classic. This set brand new would run between $970 and $1,050 and I'm letting them go for $653 shipped usps priority. These are quite possibly the softest forgings ever created by Mr. Miura and that's coming from his mouth.
