DoubleAA
I currenlty want to replace the club heads on my irons and I am needing some advice. I would like to purchase heads only, (Tlist, Mizuno, Gauge) only and have them fitted onto my current steel shafts. They are X-Stiff with a G4 swing weight. I am not sure what else has been done to them. Should I just by a whole new set or can I get away with this alteration?
Breal
I would just buy a whole new set. Because they can make them the perfect weight ,and style you want .The cost probably isn't to much of a difference IMO its up to you. Good luck .Its awesome just to get you clubs right out of the box the way you want and ready to play.

DoubleAA
Did I see that right G4 SW? That's what I was wondering?!?! If that's not a typo WOW!!! As I have mentioned before and have no clue what you guys are meaning when you mention swing weight and all that other jazz, the shafts are a swing weight of G4 based on my swing dynamics and stats that I figured out with the Team Daiwa Rep. He said the same almost, "You are going to need a G4 SW which is almost unheard of but thats the only thing you can play, your difficult to fit" I am like, hmmm, whatever, No clue. Breal
Thats the heaviest weight i have ever heard of. I don't think you can get that much weight into your existing clubs. You might seriously have to buy new .Good luck
hornyjuan
You'll probably need 30 grams of tungsten down the shaft...and by then your COG will be all messed up and the shaft won't even play to the right kick and flex. You probably need raw heads that start somewhere in the E sw range and work from there. Maybe your fitter got G and E wrong or maybe G and D. DoubleAA
I guess I need more help. If I swing other clubs that fit me. I do notice a difference in flight, weight, flex, & consistency. During that demo with the Daiwa rep I was hitting 6 irons WELL over 215 yds. "Jesus Christ" was his favorite saying. :smile1: (I apologize to the religious members) :smile1: The stiffer and heavier the shaft got the farther I was hitting with good consitency. (This was off of Grass)!! What do I do?
