August 10, 200420 yr Author thanks nick. i spoke to a ping rep today and he was sayin that the new iros are polished but are slightly different to the s59s. umm i wonder what they have changed? anyone seen any pics of these protos
August 10, 200420 yr Slightly different shape S59's with ferrules? actually they look alright for a modern Ping offering. Also a driver with a regular hosel/ferrule, about time. :smile1:
August 11, 200420 yr Just spoke with someone in Ping Customer Service. He claims that there WILL NOT be a 400cc version of the G2. He claims some 400cc protos were made for Tour players but virtually all of them preferred the 460cc head. So, 460cc will be all there is.
