So the other day i was roaming around the pro golf store and in the used section i came across a 54* black ox wedge for $50. As some people know, i've been looking for this for quite a while now. The only thing is, its in about 7/10 shape, (which doesn't bother me that much) but it seems like some idiot scraped off the finish on the face. Obviously, that moron thought that the rust was a bad thing so he tried to scrape it off in order to sell it. So now, half of the face has the finish gone, and the steel under it showing. i was wondering if this will rust up again to get the great spin these are known for, and will it maintain the sweet feel of mizuno wedges? I can probably get them to knock off around $10, making it $40, but should i buy it or just continue searching for a different wedge? Thanks for your help

The wedge WILL rust again. BTW, that price is a bit high IMO.

well, i haven't really negotiated the price yet, but its set as $50 right now. I also saw a titleist 975D driver with xstiff shaft there for $65, looked pretty nice...
