Mitsubishi's new Iron Shaft Technology OT Iron
proquick72 replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I believe reaming the hosel of the heads is safer. Shaving down graphite can compromise the structure of the shaft. -
I have come to a conclusion about my driver and wedges, but I am a little lost on fairway woods. How would the Geotech RF800 compare to Kamui and jBeam heads? Looking to order a 3 and 5 wood next week.

Thanks guys! 4 under par. Lowest tournament this year was 65 but this year wasn't as consistent as I'd like. I need to look at those options. Whatever driver and fairway I get will probably be shafted with Graphite designs. The Modart looks awesome!

I recently tried to go back to USDM as it was a bit cheaper than jdm but I'm not quite happy with my full set of pings. First off I'm a +4 handicap with a relatively fast swing. I have a kamui 456 driver that is longer than my new ping driver but my specs have changed a bit. I probably want to go with the new kamui air or something similar. I'm looking for a three wood that I can work both ways and hit high or low and the same with irons. I would prefer a blade or smaller cavity. How are Geotech blades compared to something like yururis? The 1-sw is intriguing. I have yururi wedges but the leading edge on the blades look really sharp and I play often in wet conditions. Thank you for any help.

Interesting blog by Tom Wishon on WRX

Can you please explain the quality differences in jdm and wishon? I was looking at a set of wishon blades because I can get heavier weights to keep the swing weights high with graphite shafts. -
Sorry to bother you, but could you possibly compare the driving irons to the callaway prototypes? I'm close to pulling the trigger on a buchi driving iron as an upgrade from my callaway. Thank you

I have been playing a Kamui 456 for 3 years and it finally cracked in my last tournament. It was 9 degrees of loft and 2 degrees open. Can anyone recommend any other heads to try? I would like a slightly smaller head if possible but I definitely need it to be at least a degree open. I also want to keep it as cheap as possible (Under $600). I have looked at some OEM drivers but after playing a JDM driver for 3 years, it is hard to go back. Thanks for any feedback/help.

Im looking for a new 3 wood. I have the Kamui 456 driver and love it but there isnt much of a review on the fairway. Is it easy to hit from the fairway? Workable? Any information is much appreciated.

Ive had my kamui 456 for around two years. Its 2 degrees open and 8 degrees. I love the feel but I wish it were smaller. How does the yonex 380 compare to the Kamui 420. I use a Miyazaki Kasula 61x. Im looking for a new driver but I am unsure which to get. Any help is appreciated

How is the face angle on the 380? And headweight?

Thanks Eca and Tario!! Im going to send it back to Kamui after my next tournament

I got my kamui 455 reshafted and the club builder scratched the crown and its bothering me at address. I have the red finish on it. What can I do? Send it to kamui? Touch up paint?

could the 60 degree be bent weak and still have an effective grind? I play a 64 now but 62 would work
