  1. Any idea on the price of the New Kia Ma putters? Are they available in different weights? Ice
  2. I got just the short irons to compliment my Tour W wedges. My friend has S58's and we have compared them side by side. The S57's are very similar in size. Just a hair thicker top line and a slightly thinner sole. The back cavity and the Tungsten toe are the most significant differences. When you hit them together you really notice the difference in feel. The 57's feel/sound more muted, more solid. You can really tell when you mis**t them, the 57's don't feel as harsh and are more forgiving. A nice offering from Ping and a nice improvement on what was a pretty good club already. My .02 ICE
  3. First off, Thank You Chris for the super Fast delivery!!!! I got a few S57 short irons to compliment my i10 long irons. I shafted them up with some new KB Tour shafts and the results were terrific!!! Super good looks and superb feel and performance. Another great Ping product. ICE
  4. Thanks Now that makes sense!!! Looks like the PT-5 has some interesting possiblities. Pretty lowspin #'s for a shaft that launches that high. Torque number is a little too much. I did have some success with the SIX , its what - 5.6*?
  5. Thank You for the info, I hope the members here can use it well. We here about the mantra of High Launch and Low spin, but the PGA Tour is using alot of Radar based Launch Monitors to measure carry distance AND Angle of descent. It is this combination of maximum carry and optimum angle of descent that produces the maximum distance for any initial launch conditions, ie Ball Speed+Launch Angle+Spin Could you explain this? Graphite Design Tour AD PT-5___Stiff___53.4___49.9___5.8___254___15.4___2338___30.6 Graphite Design Tour AD PT-7___Stiff___72.3___67.5___3.4___267___15.2___2347___39.9 The shaft with more weight, lower torque, higher CPM and lower launch-Apex's almost TEN yards higher??? What swing speed was used for the test? Cheers ICE
  6. Still loving my R7 forged. $56 (skins game) richer today because of them.
  7. I have tried the R7 TP with DG S300 and the R7 forged with Nippons. The R7 forged were noticeably higher but that is mostly due to the Nippon shafts. I think the R7 TP is very similar to the 04 RAC LT's in size shape and performance. Maybe a little more weight lower and farther back in the cavity so as to make them easier and slightly (ever so) higher trajectory. FYI the feel and shape make the R7 forged FAR superior IMHO
  8. I couldn't agree more! I've been using my Miura 300's on and off again this year and these new R7 forged look sooooo similar. The one improvement the 300's needed was an update on the sole. The R7's have just a hint of killed leading edge and some trailing edge relief. The same amount of bounce just a little camber. Perfect in my mind. I feel like I've got a really good setup. Ultra forgiving 3 and 4 irons and super soft almost blade like in appearance 5-Pw. I'm loving the NS Pro shafts, springy, lively, higher trajectory but not too high. Cheers Ice

  10. Really Nice Tour Issued Set Of Nike Split Cavity 2-Pw Standard Length and Lie D-3 SW Bought off BSG - Refinished in Satin Beautiful Asking $2000.00
  11. Chris, Any new info on the USGA comforming version of the MP-003? Shaft variations? Extra weights? I think the website is saying it has a composite top and toe, like the US MX-500 What do you know about this Quadra Flex shaft?
