  1. I am intererested as well as thinking about the exact same combos
  2. What is the spec on the LT pls and which feels stiffer and launches higher out of that and the X-con 6. Pls confirm availability and pricing on the LT
  3. How do these compare in terms of launch spin and feel with the X-con 6 or Altus LT
  4. Just be careful, the ball speed of 165 and ss estimate of 100 do not go together. If the former is correct, he will be in an x flex.
  5. Bump for a fascinating topic Anyone else tried this shaft or have any info on when the part 2 testing will be available. Would love to see this go head to head with the X-con 6
  6. Love to hear more about availability, specs, colors and pricing for new Altus and gather there will be a TP-6 using the same technology as TP-7 only lighter
  7. Any further news on either the course or launch monitor testing please?
  8. We must be getting close - any idea when the results will be available. Also where can we find your pricing on Oziks??
  9. Chris Can't wait to see the results. I have a TP7 and the Axiv I bought from you albeit in different heads. The TP7 is a great shaft but it's strength lies in it's smoothness and accuracy IMHO, I do not think it is the longest shaft on the market. To get the best results with it you have to avoid the temptation in thinking that it feels too soft and going up in flex. I started life as an X flex and have worked back to a stiff for 110 ss and for info there is almost no CPM differece between stiff and strong but loads between strong and X stiff. I think the redboard or Axiv will come out just as long, but TP7 is easier to load and straighter but at a lot more $$. Since most guys buy them looking for extra yardage, I think your test will be very revealing!
  10. Srixxon XXiO twin afx sole has a crazy hot face
  11. Agree 100% - the Axiv 6068m I bought from you is quoted for way less than my 110ss but it is perfect for me untipped :tsg_smilie_cool:
  12. Chris I have all my shafts SST pured and they are always high end like redboards, TP7's and a certain Axiv :tsg_smilie_whistle: There can be quite a variation of flex depending upon the plane installed and I have seen first hand two redboards of the same flex cpm almost a whole flex apart down to a combination of a strong spine in one and being generally stiffer anyway. How much difference it actually makes is difficult to say, but I take the view that if I am dropping big $'s on a shaft, I may as well have it installed in the optimum wayand reckon your customers would be pleased to have this as an option even for a self install. Generally it will be set up by SST to flex along the stiffest plane but the idea is to find the most consistent plane in which the shaft loads / unloads in a straight line and if a $100 machine does the job then that's fine with me! As a footnote, the TP7 is designed to be installed graphics down, but the SST conclusion was to rotate it by about 10* off that plane. Best, David
