  1. Sorry guys, allow me to clarify, that's 43" with the clubhead installed. I'm going to have the shaft pulled tomorrow and will have the specs tomorrow. It is currently installed in my 3 wood and measure 43" installed. Sorry for the confusion
  2. I have a PT 13 degree bore through with x100. It's in great shape easy 9.0/10. Has wooden dowel installed. This thing was barely used. No skyball marks, club barely shows any wear. I can take some pictures if you are interested.
  3. I have for sale a 660TR Tourspec S flex. It comes out of my Royal Collection BBD Type H supposedly off the JPGA tour. According to a few other posts it does not appear to have been tipped. I am going to have it pulled by official Fujikura charter dealer Max 5 golf in Gardena. It measures 43" installed in my club currently. Shaft measures 42.5" and 26" from tip to the start of TS graphics $135 shipped and paypaled
  4. hmm interesting. I was told the 3 wood was off the jpga tour and that it was an X flex. That may explain why it's so soft. I have no idea what the club freqs out at. I have another HM04 on the way that I might try. I disagree I think the TRITI is incredible in the driver. It's the closest thing to steel as I can find. Thanks for the info guys.
  5. So I've had a chance to play a few rounds with my new 3 wood. It's a RC BBD Type H off the JPGA. It's got the 660 TR X flex. I honestly thought I was going to change the shaft, because I tried the 660 S in a driver before and thought it was too whippy. Well in X and in the 3 it's really nice. Very friendly and easy to hit. To give some reference I had been playing a Kasco DNA FS with a Fuji HM04 X. According to my sources this thing is IDENTICAL to the earlier model known as the KP99. I really like this 3 wood, however the sound was getting a little too harsh for me. The super hyten is a little on the loud side. Performance wise I thought it was great. Long as all hell, however I got so good with my driver, I just never pulled the spoon anymore. Well after a few rounds and a session on the range, I must say I am quite impressed with this club. It's not as long as the Kasco, but I wasn't really looking for distance out of this club. It is more accurate than the Kasco. I was having problems controlling my Kasco, and like I said I have really been hitting my Gemini great, so the spoon had just been sitting in the bag. I'm not sure how much of it is the head or the shaft, I have a feeling it has more to do with the shaft, but this new combination is much less demanding than my old setup. I can take a easier swing, and therefore get more accurate. The biggest difference, however and what I am most excited about is the feel of this club. The feel is absolutely solid. Muted and heavy, like a mini Maru, very nice feel, great trajectory. Also Very forgiving. Again part of this may be the difference in shaft. Here are a couple of images. [/img]
  6. mmmmmmmmmmmm... shiny new blades. Those look incredible guys! I'm sure Slater will enjoy those! The maroon is a dead giveaway.
  7. I haven't hit the Mr-23 FW, I did own the driver for a while. I have been playing a Kasco DNA FS for about 6 months now. I really liked it in the beginning, I haven't been pulling it lately because I've been hitting my driver so well. I'm actually more acurate with the driver than I am with the 3 wood. The FS is an absolute cannon. The feel is pretty nice, although it's simply getting a little too loud for my taste. I thought I wouldn't mind it in the beginning, just because the performance was so good. I just bought a RC BBD type H, which I'm know I'll love. I've hit it before and really liked the feel. Very similar to the MARU. ie very solid. I'll post a review with some pics after I've had a chance to take her out for a few rounds. So far so good, the club is absolutely beatiful.

Easy, 355 Gemini! Best driver I have ever owned, and believe me I've owned a LOT of them... Import, Tour, and a component club by far the cheapest, knocked all of them out of the bag...
  9. This one is for double AA http://www.shemuscle.com/fitness/index.htm
  10. hahahha I knew it! It's not a gold club unless the shaft says Dynamic gold. Why mess with perfection?
  11. It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong  I am not a big man :-) So my putting woes continues through last weekend, so much so that I stopped by my pro shop on my way home, and threw in a 12" extension into my Betti BB-43. Added a Winn belly grip and well... I sure hope they don't make these things illegal anytime soon. I can focus more on the line and speed rather than my stroke. I cut my putts nearly in half, however that isn't saying much as my putting has been absolutely horrendous lately. Let's just say I've just been barely breaking 90 and avering 15 GIR. Pretty sad... and really freakin frustrating. My first round with my new creation, and well let's just say the honeymoon is on. I don't want to say to much yet as I want to get some time to make sure I'm gonna stick with it. BTW total cost to turn your favorite putter into a belly? 10-15 bucks. You need to buy the grip and a shaft extension takes all of 10 minutes. Worth a try, you can always change it back.
  12. I guess what I should have asked is if the putter should be banned for tournament play. So I'll increase the scope of the discussion to should there be seperate rules for the PGA and the USGA. This would allow manufacturers to create equipment that would help the average golfer without worrying about the restrictions of pros. Now fine for the casual golfer I honestly could care less. However for the pros I do think the long putter is non traditional and shouldn't be allowed. I also think it's ok if a casual golfer uses a hi-cor driver. I guess what I'm saying is fine for casual golf use whatever the hell you want. In fact you can tell people you shot a 59, not like I'm signing a scorecard or anything, it's all just for fun. However when the stakes are high, nerves are part of the game... That's just my opinion... Hmmm... maybe I'll throw a 20" extension into my putter...
  13. With all the talk of should the long putter be banned on tour, I thought we should open this up for discussion here. Personally I think it should be banned. One of my playing partners is now using one, and I do feel like he is cheating. He holds his at his chin and let's it hang down as a perfect pendulum. The lie angle isn't more than 80 degrees but it might as well be because the heel is raised off the ground. I do think it still takes work to get the lag putting down, however anything inside 10 feet is pretty much money. I haven't really tried one, although I have considered it many times. I just wish they would hurry up and make it illegal before I go out and buy one. Call me crazy but I feel like clubs should look traditional.
  14. You ask for a "players club" yet you don't want scratch because you think they are too blade like. See in my definition that is a players club. So what is it that scares you about the irons? They do setup very similar to blades, but believe me they are way more forgiving. So are you looking for something that has a thicker topline? More offset? Larger size?It sounds to me like you are looking for a GI player's club. If that is the case I would recomend looking at the TS-201 or even the TS-301. Both are great irons that have the "feel" of a great japanese club, yet forgiveness and confidence of a X-14 without looking so bulky. I don't think many people have played the irons you mentioned. GD irons just came out and are available only in Japan. I think there's maybe 2 or 3 sets out and Chris is one of the few that's played them. He seems to like them... Miura is an interesting one. Since Japan and NA can't seem to get their act together, these irons continue to flourish in Japan, yet over here in the US they just don't seem to have the same stuff... hope this helps...
  15. is this wrong? could that be ms spears? last one i promise...
  16. This was another girl at the event. She's pretty hot, but not the sharpest knife in the drawer...

  18. no wonder the gutter gang spends so much time down here. I've never really been down here, but.... Double AA I think it's safe to say that you are an ASS MAN! Goodness LOL HAHAHAHAA Ok so I wanna play too Did I do that right? j/k you boys just wait until I get home and my pc there...
  19. Hey Lightrider, quick question for you. I've been playing the BB-43 the centershaft blade with the plugs along the bottom. I was told it is DASS is that true? Do you know?
  20. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3679015534&rd=1 Now this is an interesting concept. The guy should probably have had more feedback to try something like this. My bet is that he loses a ton of money on the deal. I don't think he'll get 12 people to donate 100 bucks each, for both drivers. but you never know...
  21. DASS = Dual Aged Stainless Steel
  22. There is a great deal of luck involved in professional golf. Don't get me wrong, I appreiciate the skill involved with professionals. However the difference between winning the tournament and 2nd place involves luck. Top 10 finish is skill, winning always involves some luck.
  23. heh heh, I knew I was gonna piss someone off. Look, I'm looking at Palmer the golfer, not Palmer the legend. I do completely agree with you that Palmer brought golf to the masses, and that he had in incredible impact on the game. I think he was in incredible ambassador for the game, and he's done many incredible things. However Palmer as a golfer was completely overrated. Dont' get me wrong I like Palmer, however his swing was nasty and he lacked consistancy. Compare his game to some of the games greats like the ultimate human Bennie, Sam, or even Jack and I don't see how he stacks up.
  24. I forgot, rotate your hips, but keep your shoulders parallel to your target line. This presets the hips and limits the backswing, but if you don't keep your shoulders square to the target line you are going to pull the ball pretty bad.
