I'm currently using an MP Craft 460 and I'm looking to switch over to one of these beauties. After comparing the R1 and T1 to the old 425 and 460 I find that the 425 had a smaller "thick" area in the middle of the face while he 460 has a larger thick area just like the T1. Does that make the T1 feel like the MP Craft 460? And the R1 feel like the 425? If you happen to have hit these drivers, I'd like to hear your opinion before I buy! Thanks, Andrew Chiu

Chris, Is the face angle square by default? Also, does it feel any harder or softer compared to the Craft 425? Thanks! -Andrew

I took a photo of a Mizuno poster at a Hong Kong golf shop with MOI data of several MP irons. It lists the Heel-to-Toe (T/H) MOI and the (U/D) Up-Down MOI for the 5 iron. It's interesting to note that the (U/D) MOI of the MP-60 is slightly HIGHER than the MP-27 (550 vs 500) From almost everyone's experience, the MP-27 is supposedly more forgiving than the MP-60, especially in the longer irons. This data is quite surprising to me. Even the MP-32 has a higher (U/D) MOI than the MP-27. I guess it's from the design of the cut muscle. The second chart compares the MOI for MP-60 and MP-30. I think this type of MOI data is quite useful in judging the comparative forgiveness and playability of the different irons. I noticed the MOI for the Fourteen TC-770 (5 iron) is 2341.
