  1. For the wedge that produces the absolute most spin, no matter what type of shot. I'm assuming the non any of the non-conforming wedges spin more than any of the conforming wedges... Out of these wedges, what's your vote? Epon KGX (black finish) Gold's Factory Kemochi Black Forged (non conforming) YURURI KEIGEKIKU Tour Wedge (non conforming) Kyoei Zestaim Something from Chikara SKy Dream Jump D-tour Sky Dream Jump D-Tour Type Bite SKy Dream Jump DP2010 Something from Miura Something else not mentioned... I used to have Epon KGX's with the black finish and they spun more than any wedge I've tried. Would like something that produces even more! Please help me out guys! Appreciate it.
  2. How do the Crazy's spin compared to the non conforming Sky Dream Jump wedges of a couple years ago and Gold's Factory wedges? Like I need to know..... of all the wedges this site has ever listed, what spins the absolute most?
  3. I'll take some pics. Haven't decided on price yet.
  4. How about three Gold's Factory wedges 52, 56, 60 (only used this summer) custom made with Matrix Ozik Program wedge shafts?

Supo, if you have all the shafts out there, what are the best overall shafts for a high spin, high launch player? In other news, what is the absolute best overall shaft out there for low launch, low spin?
  6. Hahahahah!!
  7. Incredible. How were able to get the "Epon" ferrules? I asked for those f**kers and was told they don't do them anymore. BULLs**t! What are those black wraps just under the grip?

I wish Crazy would change it's name. I can't take them seriously with a name that lame.
  9. 8M2 is like a slightly heavier, F7M2... and more often used in FW woods. Absolutely fantastic shaft!
  10. They must be good if they kicked Jspec shafts out of the bag. I'll check them out. What do you mean you got the "on plus" version?
  11. Topic says it all. I'm using Matrix Ozik HD Program 130 shafts in my irons and their HD Program GSW shafts in my wedges. For some odd reason, the irons shafts are high spin and the wedge shafts are low spin.... Seems a little odd.. Anyway, in your experience or formal testing by a publication if you happen to have come across one, which wedge shaft out there spins the most?
  12. I also have a Quadra Proto X right now. Great feel, I don't think it's a particularly outstanding shaft, though. Spins a lot, dispersion is just ok. I've used a lot of better shafts.
  13. Try a Graphite Desging P9003X. I was on the phone to some guys in Texas yesterday...... pro guys and long drive guys who do extensive testing on every shaft pretty much out there and they said, at the end of the day, the best shaft they've ever tested, still, to this day is the Graphite Design P9003X. I had one...... best I ever used. The Crazy Black 50 is right there, but close to double the price.
  14. Midsize and jumbo grips weight a lot more and alter swing weight. Building up with tape does no alter swing weight as much. Not to mention, you can't get a 1/10 of the styles and or colors in midsize and jumbo. Of course I considered all this.
  15. Myself. Too expensive to get a club builder to re-grip. Plus they always come smaller than desired, going that route.
  16. I have a set of Epon 302's with Matrix Program 130 shafts. +1 inch in length. I have several grips that I want to try out. They range from .580 to .600 I'm looking to build some up to midsize, and some up to Jumbo. I've been told the Matrix Program 130's are .625 in butt diameter. The tape i'm using is this stuff here - .0075 exactly. Not the typical .006 stuff - My link CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME - CLEARLY - 1) How many wraps of .0075 tape do I need to make a .600 grip midsize and also jumbo. 2) How many wraps of .0075 tape do I need to make a .580 grip midsize and also jumbo. VERY appreciated.
  17. Iron lies are too flat, woods too upright?
  18. Is it even possible to build up a standard .600 or .580 grip to jumbo? That's apparently 12 wraps of tape, no? Wouldn't that split the grip? I built up some .600 Iomic grips to midsize (6 wraps) and half of them split upon slipping them over the tape. I'm thinking it makes more sense to build up a midsize grip to jumbo, no... Please let me know what you think. I appreciate it.
  19. I don't have that Nippon shaft anymore and yes i believe the 8m2 would fit just fine. Thanks.
  20. Wow, well done. Didn't know the Ryoma had even close to the level of mania surrounding it as the Technity.
  21. Good call on the Iomics.
  22. G-Field putter but lets hear your choices for everything else.
  23. I thought this would be a fun little topic to post. I've been visiting this site for around 6 yrs now and this is the equipment which stands out in my mind, as having the biggest cult following or having the most hype surrounding it at the time. Driver - Epon Technity 460. I remember first coming on this site and that's all I read about, the pure, incredible feel of this driver was unmatched, supposedly. I bought one and I have to agree. Never hit a driver, to this day, that felt this good. 3-Wood - Again, Epon Af 201 - Similar hype surrounding it as the Technity. Bought it, and although, for me, not quite as impressive, still impressive. Irons - This is a tough one. Has to be either the Epon 302's and AF tours, Gold's Factory cavity backs or a couple models of Tourstage.... can't remember exactly which ones. I bought the 302's and love them, although I wish I hit the struck the ball pure, more often to experience it, more often. Wedges - Epon X - Again, cult following surrounding the supposedly incredible feel. Yururi Tour Seida and raw gekku or Tourstage X wedge. Putter - Easy - Anything Gold's Factory. Shaft - The old Axiv, Roddio stand out the most for me. For irons, Nippon 1050's. Bag - Meh.... Paradisio and Dance with Dragon. Ball - No idea.... maybe the Titleist Gran Z? I'd love to hear your guys thoughts. Nice little trip down obsessive Jspec equipment lane.
  24. Smaller hands, I guess... I don't know..

Man, these Gold's Factory wedges are beautiful but I can't get them to spin with chips at all! 3/4 swings sure, full swings, yeah, but with chips, nah. Like I said in an earlier post, my vokey spins considerably more and my old Epon KGX's spun incredibly. Could stop the ball on a dime sometimes, from 12 feet. So it's not like i'm not a very high spin player. Sorry i'm venting, after spending so much on them and hearing they were perhaps THE highest spinning wedges out there. I'm now considering these Sky Dream Jump wedges or the Fourteen. Any others I should consider for spin?
