Yup toyos! I am hoping my strategy of buying expensive wedges Will satiate the impulse to tinker. In the last year i had Kenmochis, yonex, RC db protos, tourstage marus, inpres x, vega mystery, epons And now the miuras.. I actually dont like the miuras, the C grind 59 is one ofthe most Overrated wedges ive gamed Really love the monacos in wedges though.

ok guys i entered this thread and wont leave it without some form of crazy wedge from T-san ok lets say i could get the WingeD c prototype and the latest toyoshima CB104 which would you choose? are they all the same because from what i understood in the proshop they are re-released run 1 and run 2. so is this latest toyoshima the same run albeit with special grooves and satin finish or is it a totally new ground head? for those that have the Toyoshimas, are you using headcovers with em? planning on getting a set for my bday

i think i have a set of stiffs somewhere around. these were supposed to be for my personals but i soon discovered the monacos. they are 3-pw uncut but the tips are prepped. havent installed them.

i like your analogy. i have tried GD tour ad, Axiv , quadra and they were all very good. i just reshafted my set with the aerotechs. i think i will only be using steel on my wedges for the foreseeable future.

that makes sense. for iron like utility you cant go wrong with the 901 or the srixon zut. those are very very good and more forgiving than say your 4 iron. others have also tried the PRGR egg irons, they make nice utilities and are a cross between iron ute and hybrid ute. for hybrid ute i like the RC. they make one of the finest utes. BUT for full out Utilities nothing will kick out the original adams PNT2. very very nice and compact head.

The 551s and 501s are basically the same although i swear the grind is a little bit different. for me the 551s are more forgiving than the 502s. I like how their is an undercut cavity on the longer irons for more forgiveness. 551s are clicky which is a good thing for me, the 502s were muted but still very very good feeling. the 302s feel the best most especially with the modus, they are butter! as to the finish of the 551s they are quite durable, have been gaming mine for around 5 months no problems at all.
