Orange is higher launch mid kick while blue is lower launch High/butt kick. Both are very smooth but the blues will be a bit More demanding,

The shaft is tip stiff and butt soft. The harder you swing the stiff tip will Impart more spin and result in a higher flight, inversely softer hit will be less Spin , you getbthe picture. When I want a lower flighted shot or a knock down I will use a longer club , choke down and swing slower. Hope other modus users can chime in.

That's clearly a result of inadequAte paint curing. Has happened to me before in curing automobile parts. I'm sure tario will sort it out for you.

Actually he has it the other way around. The slower you swing the less spin and lower trajectory you get, Faster swing will impart more spin and a higher trajectory due to the stiffer than normal tip.

I like the Nippon modusngraphics actually, so much my GP 2g shafts are matching in red

my dad is around a 6cap last check but now probably higher. his ball striking has always been good and hes a very good iron player. the problem with the 850s and 750s is that he was not able to compress the ball and get height. finds the shafts especially 850 on the stiff side. his main gamers are 502s with quadra 6501 shafts. he actually liked the blades (gamed aftours 3 years ago) just not for his game anymore

Dad is not getting along with his blade irons BUT he loves my zen putter. So much in fact That i gave it to him after seeing him tee off from the whites for the first time ever. Ok my dad has hit them, he tried em with nspro 850, 750 no go! Forgiveness wasn't the issue he just could not elevate them. He's lost massive swingspeed in the last two years. Lost 2 clubs. With weaker lofts and less ability to compress he wasn't getting the Height he's used to. Will reshaft his 6,7 I with quadra 6501 which is a 70ish Gram graph shaft. If that does not work it's off to the FS section

I have no experience with the monacos. I do definitely think that the long irons most especially The three should be flighted! U don't want a worm burner for the 3! Well at least I don't.

The 950 is the best feeling shaft bar none. Forget about flight I'm talking feel .

C, have tried them all with the exception of the new monacos and Pxi.s but based on user feedback they are pretty dry compared To the spec offerings of nspro, shimada. I don't know why I had a wandering eye phase before I settled on the modus 3. Would change shafts every week, in this order nspro 1050-px6.0 flighted - x100- nspro 1150- sp blue - tour concepts then a whole slew of proto nspros. In the end what killed my lust to try new shafts were the modus 3. Tad lighter than ns1150 but stiff tip, butt soft and smooth powerful kick! I can't give this shaft enough praises.love it. Tried the shimadas in another set and I prefer the modus. Less demanding. Hard to game anything else once you've tried and got used to the nspro feel. Everything else feels harsher.
