nothing can possibly be as obnoxious as the epon EMS. is it exploding tin can loud? dont want to unsettle the flights in the other holes

my search is over, i found this club, he had 2 new ones in his shop and they commanded a small fortune. ouch! luckily i picked up the club of his wife for a big discount with a lady shaft new will pull the shaft in favor of a graphite design DI8S or a 9003. ive never been so excited to test a club. was either this or the RC DS. been postponing this driving spoon experiment for far too long! cant wait to put her to use on saturday.
  8. oh pm daleUK the guy is looking for an epon 102 in 9.5!
  9. yup i listened and took your advice:) have not regretted the decision one bit. now i need to get a 56 in the regular db model! The prototypes are still available if you know where to look. they are still available in some online shops, so if any of you guys can get em, go get em! you will not be sorry and if you dont like it, i will personally buy it from you. Here are pics of the wedges as of this morning. still looking mean! took photos of the shimada black wedge shafts along with the normal tour 120, they look identical except for the slight smoke tint.

  12. i think i will bump this thread, there have been many wedge posts as of late and i think this will help a lot of those thinking of what wedge to get. so after 4 months of heavy use, and many moments of pondering what other wedges to get, i still have these in the bag and are not endanger of being booted out any time soon, most likely never. why i like these: 1. Beautiful compact head shape 2. A1 versatile grind, easily opens up 3. Laser milled grooves for more spin 4. Beautiful adamantium esque raw finish. 5. Lower trajectory (Dent back) 6. crazy spin even for a conforming model 7. Prototype limited edition. what could be improved: 1. a 3 set combo instead of two with a 56 13 bounce and a 59/60 with 6/7* bounce other than that it really is the perfect wedge. RC has nailed it with this one! i have bent my 52 to a 50 to close the gap between my pw which is around 46*. i was originally using DG SPinners on these for about two months, these were the months when i was undecided and 50/50 on the wedge. the spinners had spin but being softer were the poor choice for full shots( which i use with my 52 alot) having put shimada blacks 120 has breathed new life into them. they are a different wedge altogether, crazy spin and lower flight that checks the ball! i dont think these are the spinniest wedges nor the most user friendly but they serve my purposed just fine. the sole grind makes it easier to blast out of thick 3 inch rough and the 58 is the most used club around the greens and bunker. i just wish it had less bounce. as i play these 50/58 i am using a 56deg scratch bent to 54 to fill in the gap. a RC DB 56 non proto would fit the bill nicely. i will take pics of my wedges sometime this week. most of the slight rusting is in the DB cavity, honestly i dont mind it anymore. hardest part is the first rust spot, after that you soon forget. and only 500 sets guys, grab em while you can. 4.

    Pm daleuk He's selling a proto 65s
  18. Sounds good, sounds like a good experiment, actuallly the type of experiment to Confuse me more haha. Makes the game just more fun. As for the zero iron, you remove ryo from the equation and it would be a hard sell. Is your srix 18 or 19? How is it off the deck?

Wow you still have the speed, even your 100-102 is more than good. My dad is your age and we tee it up 2x a week, he used to be around 105mph til about 2years ago now its plummeted o around 90. He just lost the Speed yet is in the same shape he was. I think the key is he lost flexibility. Anyway I think this REP will help get him motivated , he hates the gym and any Form of stretching routine, BUT hel do anything to gain a few more yards. Thanks doc!

Those were and are still on of the longest fws vie tried, quite deep and are for the more powerful Hitter. Can't go wrong with the price either no brainer
  21. Yup I know exactly what your saying.the srixs have such stellar reviews its quite difficult to ignore. Might defintely pick one up soon. That zero iron has got me baffled ever since it was announced. A 16* monster it would be off the tee, only thing holding me back is it's rather poor reviews from several Members here at the golf show. U know what, I'm actually hoping my epon 902 doesn't work so I can have a crack at this. As much as I would Love to try the crazies in the d irons, I just love steel so much. The shimada lites in em are soooo fun.

Wow! That is the only Scotty I like. Beautiful cherry bombs and deep milled gss. Very very very pricey
  23. I love driving irons, I actually hit them much better off the tee and from the fairway. My trusty 901 has been with me for over 2 years and safe , go to club extrodinaire On difficult and narrow tracks. I'm looking for an 18. There is the srixon z uti, yonex zero iron and the RC. Was wondering How the RC would compare to the srixon? Srixon has a lot of reviews but the RC has none. Let me know guys, I'm getting one just in case my epon 902 crazy ute combo doesnt work. Just thinkin ahead
