somehow i knew youd be the first one in this thread. the torque is 3.1, sounds like it will be a shade less demanding than the stinger. Red shaft paired with the red devil 360 sounds like they were meant to be paired together. do it!

i saw the new crazy boron shaft. it is color red. can anyone tel me more about the shaft. slowly getting sucked into the darkside. have already purchased a crazy black ute shaft, a Fw shaft is next in line then i see this. could they be doing something in the lines of the stinger? sticking the non P in the ryoma Fw wood. sorry if i wasnt clear . the P for me was demanding in a driver, would even be more so in the fw wood. if they detuned it by a notch, it would be a winner! if they had a p9003s not X that would be the best value for money shaft and all arounder for woods and driver.
  4. is the 17 a 4 w or a strong 5? i see you have an all akira bag? awesome! looking forward to your pics. still havent found a 3w that i can trust.

the pt8 was a monster in my 4w. i miss that combo! i agree the GDs are awesome in FWs. they are utterly stellar, i am yet to find a better , value for money shaft than this. in Drivers there are better. in woods, havent found anything to kick out the GDs. in fact im thinking about shafting my ryoma with a Gd 9003s shaft when i get the head

Dude don't do it haha. Take it to the builder even if you have to brave a long commute. Wll be worth it. Don't take any chances, these lugs are expensive!

I love the pt series. I had the pt8s in a g-field 4w that I picked up In this forum. Very nice shaft! Low and powerful. Does not feel As good as the di and QT series but it was quite the top dog in it's heyday. I think it was replaced by the qt md. Those are very similar shafts same flight But the MD feels a lot better

i moved from 2 wraps to 4. with the two i was too handsy and would actually grip harder on downswing which would in turn close the clubface . hook heaven! making it thicker has helped me to some degree:) i still hook though haha

well the shorter the club the more control you have. the best thing to do is look for the optimum balance of control while maintaining the distance. only you can discover that. for me i have moved to 45" drivers. you can butt trim the fex .5 to bring it to 45. no problem
  14. Spoon replied to DaleUK's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
i believe the 102 fex is 45.5? if so you can trim it down to 45(butt) you can adjust swing weight accordingly. might be a control issue as the driver could be too long for you. this will not fix the flex though. i find the fex proto 65s flex to be alright, nice and low maintenance, almost the same as my 75s. depends what you like i like my shafts on a softer side.
  15. Spoon replied to DaleUK's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I don't suggest you tip the FEX. You'd have to trim a lot more than 1/2 in the ip To feel a significant impact. By then you would have dramatically changed the sw And probably ruined the shaft. Butt trimming won't stiffen the shaft to a noticeable degree. A least nit in the 1/2 increment You are considering. Just sell the shaft and change it to something more appropriate. Rather than cut the shaft, I would just choke down. Play a 45 but choke .5 to an inch depending On howi feel

Vie got a 7 iron type j in decent condition. Can email you some pics
  17. I have the 110 and the 120 The 110 is mushier and more elastic, has the more powerful Kick and is generally easier to use for the majority of golfers, The. 120 is heavier, tighter and more stable. I use the 120 in my gap and sand and the 110 in my lob. I use 3/4th swings with my lob the most hence the more flexible shaft

what is it in reference to? as in fast bonding club building epoxy? we use a kind of fast drying club building epoxy that is greyish and dries in less than 1hr. maybe that?
  22. Selling as i find the club heavy. the head is a tour issue proto adams speedline 17* shafted with DI8S. shaft is over $280 and the head is not available to the public. time to move on. want $299 + shipping for combo
  23. Spoon replied to Mybluc4's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
What shafts were they using on these wedge replacement irons? Wedge shafts or iron shafts?
  24. Nope, he has the epon 18 already. The Adams w di95s is a great club Don't want to break that combo up. She will be posted in the fs section soon. A club like that will be better suited for a Power hitter. No need for a 5 w with that One.
