i think once you have and hit your clubs you will feel releived. good choice there and wise decision. youl be extremely happy thats for sure. actually you could not have gone wrong with both your choices and either or would have been great. it all boils down to personal preference and what catches your eye. good luck

  3. likewise! may have found a #3 in this same model as we speak
  4. i like the fit39 gloves, they fit perfectly and have good contact. i will not use another grip for now. i find the multis to be the same.

thats just crab!! :) seriously they say that because they dont know any better. nippons are not the most readily available shaft. i can tell you though that they are superior to dgs, kbs imho. i think most will recommend the blues over the c tapers anyday of the week. go tours and blues you cannot go wrong with them
  6. im not a grip snob but i will only use GP NDMC ive tried all the iomics and nowon1 but i find these too soft. new decade for me

the sp blue will be much smoother but kickpoint is different, more towards the butt. so will play differently. i miss my aftours so much, gaming the 302s and couldnt be happier.
  8. what is ts flex? tour stiff? thanks
  9. will you sell the head only?
  10. ordered the 3w with loft closer to 16* and FA +.5* open. i cant wait, hopefully this ends the search for the elusive #3. have my di8 parked for this one. @jeff, i noticed you swapped your qts for the di-s? how are you finding em so far?

Lol, theyve been using nano liberally indeed. even their headcovers look high-tech
  13. your back to square1 lol! back to the 17 fairway splitter. good call on the P9003 would be a monster combo indeed. if just dint pre order the new ryoma i would have defintely given the new egg+di8 combo another shot.

nanotubes is the future. saw a documentary in natl geo featurung a russian company called Rusnano that was making nanotube skin that had applications from nanotech surgical instruments all the way to satellites. im sure this technology has somewhat found its way to golf with the advent of Graphite design newer products which it worked in collaboration with Toray. future of the Golf shaft looks promising. crazy to think what super high end golf shaft will be available by 2015!

youd be headed in the right direction but would fall short. your shaft would play softer than a firm regular. get the shaft you need in S flex.

if you cut the club at the butt end you will make it stiffer in number BUT you will hardly feel the difference probably increase stiffness by 2-3cpm max. negligible imho. now trimming a reg shaft is a diff story, youd feel that for sure. dont expect to get a full flex up with tip trimming, remember your going thru sub flexes and are lucky to get half a flex up. danger of tipping too much is you will affect the original characteristics of the shaft. be careful but have fun. weve all been there.
  17. egg was so long , i dont know why i even changed it. i guess there was something i wasnt comfy with ( swoosh defintely one of them) and of course its inability to work for me off the tee. if the new ryoma wasnt coming out i would have given the spoon 17 another shot.
  18. do you have some pics?
  19. Spoon replied to DaleUK's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
id love to find out as well, had the trc in 17 and 20 * hopefully the epons stack up considering all the tech superior materials that went into the head and the price

which do you prefer these or the oras? im thinking of tinkering with these on the wedges.
  21. been looking for one for a year or so. no luck. they are getting more difficult to find. probably the HG of shafts for me. now if only i can find one

got my 902s today. wow they are bigger in real life, they almost look like a hybrid/fw than a hybrid/hybrid. they look very similar in shape to the adams super black fairway woods. i think these will be super easy to hit and may play this like a 5w with a longer shaft. am shafting it with a tour ad di 95 only problem is the shaft is .370 and i reckon the hosel of the 902 is .355 so will have to prep the shaft a bit. really excited to try this combo out. will post pics later
  23. PM stew hes the stinger dojo. he has the largest stash of stingers
  24. been using the modus for some months now. love them. they are nice and smooth, trajectory is high but not high enough to be considered balloon balls. i get nice floaters that just drop on a dime. they are probably the best shafts i have had. very smooth predictable, powerful kicking. i have gained a club from my previous nspro 1050 shafts. just make sure to get fit with the right flex.
