  1. the images do not give justice on how the wedge looks in person. the club has an almost two tone finish a combination of brushed satin and bead blasting. i sure would have liked the epon 502/302 irons to have this finish.
  2. yup the 901 is perfect already. i cannot see how this can be improved. for all its merits though this is still an iron-ish type of club and will not appeal to everyone. i too hope epon releases a wood/hybrid type of club,, if so this would certainly be a hit with current epon users.
  3. guys epon was spot on. stock weight is advertised at 211grams i specified for something + 10 grams. tolerances are sick! i got the exact weight! 221grams!! like magic
  4. well i waited months for this and now that i have it i seriously hope it lives up to my expectations. waited almost 2 years for this shallow version to hit the market. lets see how it goes. shafted it with an oban 85 devotion and ordered it + 10 grams from stock weight to get my desired SW.
  5. will test these tomorrow. i will game a 54/58. im really curious on the new grind
  6. Thanks! i wonder why anyone would choose this over the stock Epon covers?:)
  7. have pics i did not even know there were plans for one
  8. got myself a set of Golf Pride 2g wraps in white. they are absolutely sick and easy to clean. they feel very tacky and soft just the way i like em. you dont need seem to need a glove for these. try them
  9. do you have your bags yet? your right about the pocket! will have a bottle of Laphroaig and Lagauvalin for the back 9:)
  10. i think it will be the same except for the grooves?
  11. wow that good huh? been raving about the spoon for months, i beleive you and want this sooo bad. love the shallow face and the topline pics. thats one very gorgeous fw! i am getting a epon 3ht next week and if that does not live up to my expectations i will get the spoon. cant wait to get this FW chapter solved!
  12. whats the diff between this px03 and the previous spoon? like the narrow face.
  13. those look very nice. do you have the specs of the lofts?
  14. while waiting for the ht i borrowed my bros ping g15 4 wood and man were they super easy to hit. the tfc 75s shaft though was very dissapointing. these are S american specs but they felt so light and whippy. the head on the other hand was a marvel of engineering. not shallow but very easy to pick up the ball from any lie. hope the HT can do better
  15. very nice i have a yellow epon baf thats made of shiny vinyl had since 06 and still going strong. these new ones must look classy sassy in person!
  16. good luck david, check the FS section i saw a couple of 701s in the last couple of weeks.
  17. i did not even know it said 102:) i guess i was so excited with the 202 i just completey missed that type hene
  18. wow that is a crazy combo, how is the di7 as a FW wood? I would feel guilty using an expensive shaft like that on a fw wood. congrats man sick sick combo, how would you compare it to the quattro?
  19. currently making do with a kzg old skool 17* with paragon 65 shaft. shaft is way too soft and has way too much spin for my liking but they are very long and easy to elevate. cant wait for the release of the new Ht:)
  20. if you like the sx then go with the S. you can always tip it if its soft. also do remember that you can get the Ht in +10grams heavier so factor that in when you consider the shafts you are getting.
  21. i have tried the QT/PT/MD and my favorite by far for a fairway wood is the qt. nice high launch mid spin monsters that land the ball softly my favorite for the fw by far. a close second would be the md. same as the qt but mid launch and lower spin. may be more suitable though for a driver than a fw. Pt was good too but i found that it had less spin than i needed and had a harder time holding greens than the 2 previous. for the af102 i am putting an oban dev 8. i have had great success with oban with my driver, have tried all the models and the devotion is my favorite by far. so it makes sense to try the shaft in my upcoming 15*ht. do note that the dev 8 series are higher launching and have more spin than the dev6/7 siblings.
