first time i ever hear about them. kindly post a review on the shafts when you have had time to test it. curious as well.
  13. its exactly the same finish on my black vintage wedges. the blackish hue will fade of sooner than you think more so in the sole and face and you are left with the rich hue of golden reddish copper underneath. looks fantastic if you ask me. this is one finsih that gets better with age.

the nippons had a very high ballflight. too high for my liking but the feel was superb. as buttery as you can get. both were the same flex Stiff. if your looking at something similar to graphites you cannot beat the 1050

well thats a tough question and can be subjective at times. ae you talking about feel alone or ballflight? for me i cannot separate the two and at times one can influence the other. feelwise imho i would say the best feeling shaft for the type j would be the nspro 1150. i have at one point had the js shafted in 1150, 950 and Bg. the nspros feel the best but wasnt to happy about the ballflight. now the black golds are the perfect combination and compromise of both. your opinion of the shafts i mentioned could be different though. now if they could make a shaft that could feel like the nspro 1150 yet had the ballflight of the BG that would be my ultimate shaft.
  18. i couldnt agree more. becasue of golf i get to spend a lot of valuable time with my dad on a weekly basis.
  19. these look interesting enough to try. only willing to try them in a wedge but then again effects wont be as pronounced as in the mid irons

claus, emb is a little shallower than the forged 460. albeit slightly. as for the forging, its entirely done in japan while the finishing process such as polishing is done in the thailand plant
