i totally agree, will be trying out the P wedge and 6 iron later in the day. hoping the longer irons are as easy to hit as the 7 iron.

thanks, seems like the af301s will fit the bill nicely, and will be my next project set for next year,but by then i am sure there will be newer irons that will challenge the af301. for now i will continue to enjoy all the forgiveness of my typex bg combo:)

i havent tried all the af301 irons only one ive tried is the 7 iron and let me tel you when its hit flush the feeling is soo intense. pure bliss. my mis**ts werent too bad either with low trajectory shots with some distance loss of around 10 yards. found these pretty forgiving for someone with my ball striking abilities.

im really curious about that utility wood. ive tried many but none have been able to knock the gfields from my bag, if this new uw is anything like their FWs and irons then these just might be it.

very great review aj! so will these continue to be your current gamers? if i were to have it my way i would get the af301 7-pw and af501 4-6i. i was never good with the longer irons anyway so something more forgiving would be more beneficial for someone with my ball striking abilities. just wondering between the cb1006, studio handmades and the af301 which would you rate as 1st 2nd and 3rd? just wondering since these irons are all on my wishlist

well it seems like your best solution is to bring your set to a clubfitter and have the sw increased to something more suitable to your style. also you cannot add the tape you need to the head, i dont know if this will work but you can try adding some tape to the hosel area or below it, wont be as good as in the actual head but ive seen some people do this. never hurts to try. good luck

i defintely like the style and design of these bags but il have to go with Gocchin, the choice of material is something else though. i have never been a fan of shiny enamel kinda makes the bag look cheap. well thats just me though.

that channel sole looks very interesting. how would you compare this to the rails other manufacturers have?

im assuming the one with the channel groove on sole is the 57?

technically they are intended to rust as thats how the pros want it but for me i dont like anything to rust hence the anal post game cleaning rituals. as far as i know of , no adverse effects as long as rust is kept at a minimum

T, yup i know, what i meant is that both are 2 dot= 56 or 57 degree yet the grinds of one seem to look totally different. one of em looks like the grind for a 52*
