personally i generally like my shorter irons heavier with my wedges being the heaviest for enhanced feel and control

learning something new everyday, if you asked me about this last week i wouldnt have thought it possible

im doing something different i too am shafting my gfield 22* head problem is the speeder shaft i have is .335. my fitter suggested putting a shim to make the shaft fit snuggly. he says many people do this and it will not affect play at all. anyone try this as well?

although i am quite happy with the stock machline shafts of my epon 15* im curious about getting another shaft for the sake of experimentation. all this talk of quattros and pt6ers are getting me VERY curious:)

dont have any experience with those shafts but you cannot go wrong with them. a bit extravagant and pricey for me though. my dad has the ngs machline graphites and hes more than happy. also a friend of mine just got the axiv iron shafts and is all praises. maybe you can consider that one as well.

back from my first round of golf with the epon bg combo. shafts are defintely all that! they are so lively, so much different from my epon x with TCr3. this is my new gold standard. so impressive in fact i had three friends who just shifted to black golds after trying my mx 23 BG. also converting all my wedges to BG:)

had the butt trimmed 1/4" thsi effectively lowered the swingweight to d2.5 anyway man am i loving the combo even more than my mx23s. those are gone. club feels so much more alive and the shaft is defintely a perfect match for my swing style. this defintely outdoes the type x w tcr3 i had and sold several weeks back

B, actually the clubs are still with my clubfitter. i will pick em up tom. i just got worried since they are d6 and my prior clubs were at most d2. anyway i found out that the mizunos have a deeper bore or something as compared to the shallower epon. becasuse of this my clubs are all 1/4" longer than standard. butt trimming it 1/4" would effectively lower the sw to d3/d2

thats what i figured, i have a set of typexs w graph shafts that i wanted to use. too late now as the black golds are already in.

i just recently pulled the stock ngs graphite shafts out of mytype x and put in some black golds regular from my mizuno mx23 set. after installing it in the epon x heads the swingweight is now d6. am i missing something here? nothing was done to the shafts they are as is the sw of the mizuno with mx23 was d2. could the increase in sw be due to the fact these heads came from a set w graphite shafts? do heads for stell shafts and graphite shafts weigh the same? would appreciate some info thanks

i havent tried the studio handmades although i almsot pulled the trigger on a used set two weeks ago but decided on the epons. for me nothing ive had comes close. the yuris have good reviews and is prob an awesome set but they dont catch my eye. good luck with your upcoming purchases

why get another set of studio handmades when you have one already? better put your dough elsewhere like the new epon lineup and maybe swap the prgr for the new epon af201s

Hulc it may jsut be me but honestly i find that the blinker without the solid disk looks a bit lacking. seems something was left out. thats just me though as i like my putter solid looking. if your happy then thats the most important thing

i agree hybrids would be awesome. it would have to be just that if its going to knock out the gfields from my bag
