  2. is this the same head as the m2+ minus the premium zone insert?
  3. well you get what you pay for:) in the case of the stage 5/6 wedges these are entirely made by sasaya-san who is very well known for making one of the finest golf clubs in the world. So if your willing to shell out and wait quite a while then you cant get any better than these.
  4. Lol i was going to ask the same question. i too would also like to know the moi of the 415. thanks
  5. D, it is 55 grams fujikura. i also have a gd tour ad 65g in regular but its a whole lot stiffer. guess the fujis are not playing to flex. i have also been trying to tone my swing down to 80% i just cant do it. i have been swinging close to 100% and this is really what im comfy withwith great results and i get a piercing boring ball trajectory with my current shaft as opposed to my stock erc shaft which tended to balloon. my swing coach actually fixed my posture and stance to a more upright position and this has been extremely helpful in terms of mis**ts and addressing my violent swing. now i am able to monster my drives without toning it down. i just hit a couple of buckets with my new shaft and modified posture. i virtually had 3 mis**ts the entire bucket and they were fading left instead of right. will experiment with the gd tour ad and compare.
  6. i got myeslf test today and i was registering around 105-110mph with my driver using a fujikura speeder 55 r. just wondering what the benefits of a heavier stiffer staff would do for my swing speed? find my shaft a tad whippy and soft, i find that a 65-70 gram S shaft would feel right and just about ideal for my kind of swing. my type of swing is on the violent side and bad shots always tend to fade on the right. also wondering if their are any excercises i can do to increase my ss. thanks in advance.
  7. that face in itself is a work of art. just beautiful, im sure it performs even better.
  8. i agree with the others. thats one sweet bag! love everything. im curious about the bag as well. btw i see that you have 3 yuyuri wedges, maybe forgetting a 51?
  9. was just curious:) maybe down the long road i will have consider something like that. also how many gamer putters do you have? seems like you have a lot of favorites.
  10. chris thanks for the clear explanation. i understand now. like blader-x would like to make this my project way, way down the road. im particularly interested in anything to make the putter feel soft. basically all those you enumerated is exactly what i am looking for.
  11. yes it does in fact remind me of the epon type j. so many new clubs coming out in 07.
  12. G, thanks for sharing im curious as well how to interpret the data.
  13. this one looks very minimalist and clean. may appeal to others but i would preffer somthing similar to the epons or beres
  14. honestly i cant tel the difference from all of the Gold's putters except for the inserts and added customizations. i know there is a base unit to build your putter but after a certain stage of customomization arent the rest just gimmicks? i would like to hear from actual owners that tricked up there putters pls.
  15. this is my type of putter! i like the anser style with additional alignment aids. will this be available to the public?
  16. great post Gocchin, i cant wait to get mine. these will be special. i can se this year being the year of the wedge. with something ultra special being released next week:)
  17. changed my whole setup, i have decided on the the epon technicity 15* and 18* as well as one 20* Gfield UW. was one of the toughest decisions i have had to make im recent times. will have updates soon
  18. thanks for sharing Gocchin, from the looks of things i wouldnt be able to tell them apart at address:)
  19. ive been going thru the same problem. my clubs came with standard asian grip, i have rather large hands so i had them re-tape 5 wraps and save the existing gri[ps. they feel much better than the original plus i dont grip with my left as hard.
  20. I have a dilemna , i have a 15* maruman m sole 3 wood that i hardstepped. i can hit this very good off the tee and can hit it very well off the fairway most of the time and about 50/50 off the tricky rough. For the rough i have a mizuno t zoid 7 wood or a 18deg Kasco wood. both have approximately the same distance but edge to the kasco for usability,so i am considering scrapping the Mizuno 7 altogether. My current problem is finding the right combo between woods and hybrids, i am sure this has been discussed many times before and is a matter of personal preference but what continues to bug me is choosing the right combo. to makes things simple i am getting a 18/20* G field hybrids only becasue i can get them very reasonable. so my problem is selecting a fairway wood that would be decent of the tee but shine even more on the fairway. from the looks of things the most notable candidates are the G-field 3 14* and 4 16* fairway woods with the edge going to the 4 16* for overall usability and forgiveness. what would be a good balance of compromise and workability? im eyeing the 4 wood. but brian's (blader-x) review of the new epon technicity woods just threw my perfect solution out of balance. decisions, decisons. What is really funny is i am using my maruman m sole shuttle 3wood 15* like a fairway surgeon so why in the world would i wanna change it? thanks in advance
  21. This is not very helpful, my curiosity and lust for the epons is getting too overwhelming to bear. i may succumb soon
  22. hey man i know the site you are referring to. they are in fact the pics of mb
  23. I am looking to retire my old school mizuno t zoid 7 wood and maruman shuttle 3 wood i am considering the g-field 3 or 4 or 5 wood. i would prefer just the heads. please pm me if you guys wanna sell yours. thanks.
