The dj is such an easy peasy shaft. So something of similar trajectory with lower spin .. Guess the BB is out then as i put a value On the height. How about the sigma 50 ?

Bb was an option as well but worried that it would be too low. The dj is awesome just too much spin for qttacking greens Ideal would be the DI but in another brand.. I seldom attack the green on my home course i can reach one with a long iron while The others i use a my wood for placement. So the wood is mostly for placement on tight par 4s. How low is low? Is the bb like the 9003?

i dont really care on the 80t thing. i value feel more. hate dull feeling shafts. that is why i love graphite designs. the feel is just sublime which i dont get in fuji or diamana. they have been the only FW shafts i have enjoyed from the green quattro to the DJ. hmmm so should i be considering the FEX as well? the fex is #1 for me in the driver, havent found a shaft more stable than the proto. never tried their woods though. im more confused now than when i posted the question

funny you bring this up. i have an uncle in the 60s. he has been claiming hes been gaining 5 yards here, five yards there sometimes 15 yards and the odd 20 yards. hes been saying that for years. i reckon his carry distance is probably 1000 yards with a 100 yard draw

ok guys i dont want to over analyze. i have tried all the shafts there is to try in FWoods with the exception of the FEX and FW80. anyway the DJ7 is the best FW shaft i have owned. easy to elevate and easy off the tee. just want to try something in another head. the DJ7S is 74.5 w a tq of 2.9, nice pronunced kick high launch mid spin. so spec wise i should be looking at 7.4 in fw80? how do these feel? taut? may even consider 7.7 but want a softer feeling controllable FW wood. help thanks

i had an epon 380 that was a joy to hit, wasnt the longest but was out there in terms of control and shot placement. but found it had too much spin and hardly any roll.

damn i keep hearing this . does this apply to all sub 400cc drivers or just this one? i wonder if s-yard made the same design in a bigger head say 415-420 if results will be the same? i take it that the bigger the head the longer and more forgiving?
