Yes Putters
I don't know if everyone is aware but they have a new model called the Callie which is similar to NP2 or Anser2. I just sold mine untouched, because I just recently acquired 2 Japan Gauge putters. This new Callie model is bit more expensive than the older ones, $189 with shipping. The quality does not seem up to par with a similarly priced SS Cameron, but its still a decent putter. Below are some pics of the Callie I just sold.

WTB: YES! C-Groove Putter
I just ordered the callie (similar to newport 2) model. Should be getting it this week. You can go online, www.yesgolf.com, and there is an 800 number you can call to order direct. It was $179.99 but some other models are cheaper. I wanted to see if these putters work, we'll see.

why are you all selling MR23's?
As much as I loved my MR-23's, I needed something a little more forgiving and I found Z101 to fit my swing better.

I know this is a sin to talk about GD US in here...
At that price I probably would have bought them too.

I know this is a sin to talk about GD US in here...
I am going have to agree with FAQ. I really didn't have a clue until recently. Earlier this year, I bought a Gauge US ETBW prototype directly from David Whitlam. It was pretty expensive, $340 shipped. At that time I did not know there where 2 Gauge entities. When I first got it, I really liked it, I even posted some pics here and a few poked some fun at my new putter. Later, after a few rounds, I found the putter to be too inconsistent. I sold it only after a month. I thought to myself, what was all the Gauge hype about? Shortly thereafter I found out there was a Gauge Japan. I recently got a Japan Gauge Shingo proto from Swunk, the differences are night and day. No comparison in quality and workmanship. The feel and consistency of my new Shingo is far superior than the US ETBW that I had. I remember the Gauge US ETBW had some pretty inconsistent glue around the tungsten inserts (wonder if they were even tungsten?). US gauge putters are not bad, but when compared to Japan Gauge, there is no comparison My 2 cents :smile2:

Smoothing out light dings and scratches
Is there a safe way to smooth out light dings and scratches on a putter(other than face) without altering the putter negatively? If not, any recommendations on an expert (a refinsher) that can?

Cheers to Swunk
Accolades to Swunk :smile2: Great putter, good price, and super fast shipping. Do not hesitate to buy from him!

Mp-27
Ethan Great irons, I had them briefly but sold them because they were a little too much game improvement for my taste. Although my handicap is 16, I like a lot of feedback on good hits as well as bad hits. I currently play MR-23 CB and love them. The MP-27's are a super set of irons though a little pricey as many Japan only issue golf equipment is. Chris, tourspecgolfer, can get them for you. Hope this helps Hyun Jin

Important question - Titleist CBS4 bag: Umbrella holder
jboy Do you mean the CBS41 bag? If so, I am not sure if the umbrella seat will slide through the sleeve of the umbrella holder because of the that ring at the tip. It will certainly fit on the loop at the bottom. It may work though because it seems the diameter of the ring is about the same as the body of the umbrella. Just so you know my umbrella has a snug fit through the sleeve. Hyun Jin

Your favorite stand bag
lots of talk of that bag, what's so special about it? It does look good on the outside. The OGio exo has amazing compartments but ugly exterior. If the CBS41 has that kind of compartment spaces...im pretty sold. p.s. anyone have some pictures of the CBS41 from the top? and the Tourstage stand bag? I second that on the CBS41, best stand bag I have ever used, and I have tried many stand bags. Better than any US titleist stand bag. Check out my review: http://www.tourspecgolf.com/magazine/modul...iewtopic&t=8380

My new Titleist CBS41 stand bag
Hi jboy: The wait for the bag is aboslutely worth it!! To keep you going, here is a more detailed report: The top has 7 sections and 4 full length dividers. The bottom row is a single section where I place my PW, 56, & 60. The row up has two sections where I place 4-6 in the left and 7-9 in the right. The next row up also has two sections where I place my two resue mids in the left and my driver in the right. The top row has a putter well and an additional smaller section where I sometimes keep my driver. It is very functional up top, the best I have used. Right side pockets: Full length main pocket that is very functional, it sort of expands when you put a lot of stuff in it so it doesn't jam your clubs. A seconday pocket not as long where you can keep the rain hood in or other smaller items. Smaller valuables pocket which is large enough to keep wallet, cell phone, keys and maybe a few other items in. Front pockets: Has insulated bottle pocket that is the perfect size for a 20oz. gatorade. In front of the bottle pocket, is a great pocket where I keep a handful of balls, long tees, cameron divot tool and coins. On both sides of the front pockets are two smaller pocket where I keep shorter tees and pencils. Has one more smaller pocket where you can keep smaller item, ie business cards. Left pockets: Has larger main pocket where I keep my extra sleeves of balls(number of extra sleeves depends on the course :smile1: , extra tees, and tape. Has one last pocket next to the left main where I keep an extra glove or two and my golfers bible. I think that all the pockets, lets see............... that makes 10 of them. Excellent stand legs and mechanism. Pushes out legs effectively and returns when set down and lifted. Much better mechanism than the Hoofer type I had in my Nike tour. It always jammed my bottom row of clubs. Izzo strap model that I don't believe is available in the US. Attaches to plastic/rubber main handle which you can adjust up or down depending how you want your bag balanced. Both straps pivot on a plastic assembly which provides comfort and a good fit. Of course the straps are adjustable on the other ends. The lower back pad is very comfortable but not too soft so as to give you a sore back and the end of the day. Umbrella holder is a very good design. It does not allow the tip of the umbrella to touch the ground. This I like because it doesn't allow the umbrella to pop out of the bottom strap when bag is set down like my old nike tour bag. The top strap is velcro and very sturdy, unlike the cheap drawstring on my old nike. Odd and ends: Has a quick release D-ring to attach a towel to. Also has a bungee like cord at the top which is adjustable. The rain cover is the highest quality that I have ever seen for a stand bag. jboy, I hope this helps in the meantime. HJ

My new Titleist CBS41 stand bag
Its not a "Hoofer" type mechanism, the leg actuator is like other titleist bag's. Like I posted before its not the lightest bag, 6.38lbs, but with as much stuff I carry the weight doesn't matter that much. For convenience and features, it is the best stand bag I have ever used

My new Titleist CBS41 stand bag
The titleist does not have the grooves like the Daytripper. I had one of those and to me the grooves did not make a difference. I had a problem with my nike tour also. The big problem with the nike is that the main pocket is just to small, when more than one item is put in it, it jammed my irons and everything else. The titleist has 4 full length dividers and 7 sections. It also has some great pocket's. When the main pocket is stuffed it sort of expands and does not jam up the irons. pic of divider: http://www.villagephotos.com/viewimage.asp?id_=9466327 I would highly recommend one if you have had frustations getting clubs out of the bag with your Nike as I did.

I looking for a Titileist CBS 41 Silver Stand Bag
I just got mine from Chris, "Tourspecgolfer". PM him, he can get you one.

My new Titleist CBS41 stand bag
It's not very light, 2.9kg or 6.38lbs according to the Japan Titleist site, but it does not feel that heavy because it is very well balanced.

My new Titleist CBS41 stand bag
Just got the best stand bag ever from Chris. I have tried many stand bags, but this Titleist bag is absolutely awesome. I remember a while back someone was selling them on ebay as "Tour Japan only" bags, what a load of bull. Some bozo's were bidding as much as $600 dollars for it. Chris got me one for $235 shipped to US. If you are a stand bag user, I highly recommend one. It blows away any stand bag available in the US, Callayway daytripper, ogio, nike air tour, ect......... http://www.villagephotos.com/viewpubimage....selected=959598 Thanks Chris for getting me one, it was worth the wait. Looking for Aldila Orange/Amber Prototype
I just got one installed on my R510TP and love it. 10 yards longer than my other TP with Fuji SIX in reg. I don't know what the graphics on retail shafts are going to be like, but the one I ordered directly is imprinted with "Aldila R&D prototype 65R". Maybe it will be cheaper when released, but it is worth $109.
