Personally, I tend to not care what is hot or not. If something is hot I will lokk into it, but other than that I tend to stay away from trends. But.....I LOVE my Chikara wedges. I have put more balls 3 feet and in, in the past 8 rounds with these wedges then I did in the privious 50. I hope some of the things regarding customer service and such mentioned here by Chris are not true, because I am VERY inpressed with these wedges and look forward to the irons and putter.

I think Spoon in post #12 said he may be able to help you find the G-Fields.

Those MTI wedges look very cool......is TSG going to bring them on-board? We need to get some in some board members hands for reviews!

I agree with everything you said completely. I have really come to realize that the thoughts I had when I was younger and a newer player (ie you need a D/3w/5w/3i-PW/SW/Putter) are wrong. I am now trying to figure out the best possible way to suit my bags makeup to my game. I am a longer hitter and my home course and the courses I play with friends and family are not the longest. Therefore right now I am carrying hybrids and more wedges than I usually would. So my bag right now looks like this: 1) Driver - Crews or R7 2) 15* Hybrid - Nikent 3) 18* Hybrid - G-Field 4) 21* Hybrid - Ben Hogan 5) 5i-9i - Gauge MB-2 6) PW - Yuiri Black 7) GW/SW/LW - Chikara Proto 8) Putter - Right now the gamer is a 350 Milled I love this setup....very geared to my game. And I am thinking thats the way it should be.

Interesting...I was just thinking about this recently. I have changed my bag up a lot lately to better suit my game. During that time I had come to the conclusion that I hit hybrids much more consistently and solid than FW. So I have been playing three hybrids and it is working out very well for me. For some reason hybrids just seem to work for me.....so the more the better. :-)

I got one of these on a Chikara I got - they are amazing..... I need more for my other clubs..... So here is my question for you guys....I know the Pro Shop has these, but looks like the red is not available. So what are all the color options? And is there anywhere else we can get these from? Thanks!

Thats a whole lot to bend a wedge......personally I would not do it, since I feel it would change the characteristics of the club too dratically from the original intent of the designer. But if you do go for it, please let us know how it works out for you.

Thanks for the reply. I am about a 12 handicap. I am looking for a wood type hybrid in the 16-18 degree range. Not really replacing anything.....just have room for another club in the bag and I would like a hybrid for off the tee.
